At a point in my life, I tried to fit in with the people around. That didn’t just include: showing up at some festive gathering even at times when i didn’t wanted to because there is something the society calls it cooperation, wearing outfits which were supposedly in fashion, giving opinions which sometimes might not have been what you wanted to say but knew what the other person expected to hear. These ones are actually the simpler versions of what some of us do to fit in with the environment.
On the higher grounds; in our everyday routine, having to deal with so many different characters is a norm. Some people don’t deserve any goodness, they are selfish, conceit and narrow minded. You want to be good but sometimes it is difficult when it gets too much. As with the old saying ‘what goes around comes around’ and so means what came around has to be given around. You won’t fit in a group where your good intentions and humble behaviour is disrespected. If you want to fit in, you have to reciprocate exactly in a manner that’s got you treated with. No more letting others take advantage of who you are and no longer will people dare do things which might hurt your sentiments. Well, that’s what you have become. Isn’t it a sad thing, now that you have become one of these people? Then again, you have but for the better and for yourself.
In all these events, let not die your morality and the person you are and you were. Good nature dies but not by itself. Just have to be careful.
